How to play "Logic Pro" (1 & 2) ------------------------------- Version 0.02 - release date : 16th of August 2000 Copyright Steph from The Ultimate Patchers - e-mail : stephh@europe.com The purpose is to find the blocks and avoid the traps (similar to Windows "Minesweeper") ... For each line and column, you are given numbers that indicate the number of consecutive blocks for the line/column ... Example : Having 5 on a line, means that somewhere, there are 5 consecutive blocks for this line ... 5 xxxx.....xxx 'x' = Trap and '.' = Block You can also have many numbers ... That indicates that there are many consecutive blocks, but that they are at least separated by a trap ... Example : Having 2 3 on a line, means that there are 2 consecutive blocks, at least a trap, then 3 consecutive blocks ... Blocks are counted from left to right (lines) and top to bottom (columns) ... 2 3 x..xxxx...xx Another example : 1 4 2 .x....xxx..x 'x' = Trap and '.' = Block When you are sure that there is a block press A button (Ctrl or A) ... If you guessed well, you are given points ... but if you're wrong, you lose some time ... You can also mark the traps (to avoid selecting them) by pressing the B button (Alt or S) ... You can invoke help ("Logic Pro 1") or throw a bomb ("Logic Pro 2") by pressing the C Button (Space or Q) ... Helps : read "filler bomb" below Bombs : - filler bomb : fills the line and the column on which you use it ... All blocks for this line and column are displayed as well as the traps ... - normal bomb : makes an explosion around the cursor ... Again all blocks and traps within the area are displayed ... The rabbit uses the hammer bomb instead ... - hammer bomb : usable only if you select the rabbit ... When you use it, you have 5 seconds to move the cursor and press the A button to make small explosions ... In "Logic Pro 1", you have 3 helps at start ... In "Logic Pro 2", you have one "filler bomb" and one "normal bomb" (boy and girl) or one "hammer bomb" (rabbit) ... The level ends when you have found all blocks ... You'll be given some points depending on the remaining time, as well as 500/1000 points ("Logic Pro 1/2") of extra bonus if you didn't make any mistake for the level ... Remaining blocks are displayed ... The game ends when you have no more time ... You only have ONE life ...
